AP Exam Tutoring, Online
AP courses are college-level subjects taken in high school and examined by College Board every May. Each one has its own exam format and its own scoring guidelines, and the students who do best are the ones who prepare for that specific exam rather than for the subject in general.
Short answer
AP preparation is offered online, one-to-one or in a group class.
One-to-one lessons are 90 minutes long and start at USD 65 per lesson; the group course runs 50 lessons of 90 minutes for USD 1,755, and a class never takes more than 6 students.
Group classes next begin on 18 September 2027.

What AP is, and why students take it
Advanced Placement is a set of College Board courses, each ending in a single exam scored from 1 to 5. US universities use AP scores for credit or placement, and admissions offices read them as evidence of how a student handles college-level work. Many UK and other universities accept a set of strong AP results alongside an American diploma, typically asking for several APs at 4 or 5 — each university sets its own rule.
For students in American-curriculum schools across Africa, APs are often what gives the diploma its academic weight in an international application. They are also sat by students outside those schools who want to strengthen a US application in a specific subject.

What the lessons work on
The exam, not just the course
Content matters, but AP scores turn on free-response technique. Students practise against College Board’s scoring guidelines and published samples.
Keeping ahead of the school pace
Many schools finish the course late in the spring. Lessons can cover later units early so revision starts with the whole course in view.
Self-study APs
Students taking an AP their school does not teach need a structured course and someone to check the work. That is a full syllabus package rather than a few lessons.
Timing and the digital format
Where an exam is in Bluebook, practice is too, so the tools and pacing are familiar before May.
Registering for AP from Africa
AP exams are ordered through a school or test centre that administers them, not by the student directly. In American-curriculum schools that offer AP, the school’s AP coordinator handles it. Students whose school does not offer a particular exam need to arrange with a school or authorised centre that will administer it, and should do so early in the academic year — ordering deadlines for May fall months before the exams.

First-lesson assessment
There is no separate diagnostic, because there is no single test that stands in for two years of a school syllabus. The first lesson is the assessment: the tutor works through your recent marked work, past-paper questions from your own specification, and the units your school has already covered, and reads current level, gaps, exam technique and where school work stands. It is a normal paid lesson and it teaches as it assesses.
Written plan
After the first lesson you receive a written plan: which units come first, how many lessons that realistically takes before your exams, and where past papers enter. It is revised as school covers new material.
Lessons and review
Each lesson ends with set work and a target for the next one. Families receive progress notes, and the plan is re-read against every new score rather than followed blindly.
