How It Works, Programme by Programme
Every programme starts with the same free conversation. What happens next is not the same for every programme, and this page says exactly what happens for each one — including where there is no separate test.
- Free 15-minute intro call
- Starting method set per programme
- Written plan before lessons
- Progress notes for families
The four steps
Free intro call
Every programme starts the same way: a free fifteen-minute call with an advisor. It is a conversation, not a test. We ask what you are preparing for, when you sit it, what your school is already covering and what you are aiming at, and we tell you which programme fits, what it costs and what the realistic timeline is. If the answer is that you do not need us yet, we say that too.
Starting point
How your level is established depends on the programme — a free full-length diagnostic, the first lesson, or a method agreed with you. The table below sets it out for every programme.
Written plan
Which sections or units come first, how many lessons that realistically takes, which tutor, and when full practice tests or past papers enter.
Lessons and progress
Live 90-minute lessons online, set work after each one, and short written progress notes for the family. The plan is re-read against every new score.
How each programme establishes the starting point
This is the policy, not a summary of it: every programme page on this site reads its starting step from the same table.

A “free intro call” is a conversation, a “diagnostic” is a full test, and a “first-lesson assessment” is a paid lesson that teaches while it assesses. They are different things and are never used interchangeably on this site.
What online lessons are like
Lessons run on a video platform with screen-sharing and a shared whiteboard. The student works problems while the tutor watches and corrects in the moment; materials, past papers and set work are shared on screen and afterwards.
Lessons are booked in your own time zone. The countries this site serves run from UTC+0 to UTC+3, and lessons are scheduled around the school day in each. A laptop or tablet with a camera and microphone and a stable connection is all that is needed.
