International Exam Preparation for Students in Morocco

Students in Morocco finish school with the national baccalauréat marocain, with the French baccalauréat in French-network schools, or in IB and American programmes. Those who apply abroad look at France, Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom, Spain and other destinations. We prepare students for the international exams those applications ask for, live online, in English, and timed around the Moroccan exam calendar.

  • Live online lessons on Moroccan time (UTC+0)
  • Lessons taught in English
  • Plans built around the June baccalauréat
  • Lesson packages and course options

How school ends in Morocco

Students in Morocco reach the end of secondary school by one of four main routes. Each leads to a different qualification, and universities abroad read each one differently.

RouteFinal qualificationRun byHow it is assessed
Moroccan national systemBaccalauréat marocainMinistry of National Education, Preschool and SportsThe exams include a regional unified exam at the end of the first year of the baccalaureate cycle and a national unified exam at the end of the second year; in 2026 both were held in June
French-network schools (AEFE, OSUI and partner schools)French baccalauréat, with a Baccalauréat français international (BFI) option chosen in seconde by some studentsFrench Ministry of National EducationThe exams include early (anticipée) papers in French and mathematics at the end of première, and written papers in philosophy and the speciality subjects in terminale
IB World SchoolsIB DiplomaInternational BaccalaureateFinal exams in the school’s examination session (May at the Moroccan schools checked) plus internally assessed work; the IB’s school search lists the authorised schools in Morocco

Where students apply, and what is usually asked

Requirements differ by university and by course, and they change between admissions cycles. The rows below describe the general pattern; for any university on your list, check the university’s international entry requirements for the year you apply.

DestinationHow students applyWhat to check
FranceFrench baccalauréat candidates in French-network schools apply for first-year places through Parcoursup. Holders of a foreign school-leaving qualification, including the baccalauréat marocain, file a demande d’admission préalable (DAP) for a first-year licence through Campus France Maroc’s Études en France platformFor 2027 entry, Campus France gives 1 October to 15 December 2026 for DAP requests; Parcoursup opens in December 2026, registration runs from January to March 2027, the list of choices is completed in April and the main admission phase runs in June and July 2027. Études en France is also the pre-consular step for a student visa
Canada and QuébecEach university admits on its own criteria. To study in Québec for more than six months, an admitted student needs a Québec Acceptance Certificate (CAQ) and then a Canadian study permitLanguage requirements depend on the university and the language of the programme
United StatesThe full secondary-school record, essays and references; some selective universities require test scores again, others are test-optionalSAT or ACT where required; TOEFL or IELTS where the university asks for an English test
United KingdomPractice varies: the University of Manchester, for example, asks holders of the baccalauréat marocain to complete a recognised foundation programme first, while French baccalauréat holders from French schools in Morocco can be considered for direct entryIELTS or another English test the university accepts, and each course’s subject requirements
SpainFor public universities, students from non-EU systems such as the baccalauréat marocain must meet the requirements for homologation to the Spanish bachillerato, obtain the UNEDasiss accreditation and sit specific-competence exams (PCE), in at least four subjects as UNEDasiss recommendsEach university’s admission criteria, which can name the subjects; the route differs for students from EU education systems and for IB Diploma holders

Where the exam calendars collide

The 2027 dates of the Moroccan regional and national exams could not be confirmed on the ministry’s website when this page was checked, so the Moroccan rows show the 2026 pattern. The SAT, AP, DAP and Parcoursup dates are for 2026–27.

WhenMoroccan and French examsInternational exams and deadlines
September–DecemberClasses began at all levels on 7 September 2026SAT on 7 November and 5 December 2026; DAP requests for France close on 15 December 2026; Parcoursup opens in December 2026
January–MarchNo regional or national bac papers in the 2026 patternParcoursup registration from January to March 2027; registration for the 6 March 2027 SAT closes on 19 February 2027
MayNo regional or national bac papers in the 2026 patternSAT on 1 May 2027; AP Exams 3–7 and 10–14 May 2027, late testing 17–21 May; IB May examination session for schools that sit in May (check with your school and the IB’s schedule for exact dates)
JuneIn 2026: regional exam (first year) from 1 June, national exam (second year) 4–6 June, results scheduled for 17 June. In France, the 2027 French baccalauréat written exams run from 14 to 21 June; that calendar covers France and its overseas departments, so confirm the dates for centres in Morocco with your schoolSAT on 5 June 2027, close to the national exam if 2027 follows the 2026 pattern; Parcoursup main admission phase begins
JulyNormal-session papers are over in the 2026 pattern; a student facing a catch-up (rattrapage) session should confirm its dates with the ministryNo SAT or AP exams; the Parcoursup admission phase continues, which leaves room for focused IELTS or TOEFL work

Sitting international tests from Morocco

For IELTS, the test-location search on ielts.org lists the current centres in Morocco; check it for cities, dates and, if you need it for a UK visa, IELTS for UKVI. For the SAT and TOEFL, the College Board and ETS test-centre searches are the official lists of current centres and seats, so check them before choosing a date.

For a student in the second year of the baccalaureate, if the national exam keeps its early-June slot, the November, December and March SAT dates fall well before it and the June date sits right beside it. French-network students register on Parcoursup in the same months as the March SAT. A workable plan puts the SAT and an English test in the autumn and winter and keeps June for the bac.

How online lessons work from Morocco

  1. Send an enquiry

Write in French, Arabic or English, with the school route, the exams in view and the countries on the list. We answer in the language you write in.

  2. Free intro call

A conversation, not a test, about the exam dates, the destinations and how much time school leaves. For the SAT, a free full-length diagnostic follows before any plan; for IB, AP and IGCSE, the first lesson includes an assessment.

  3. A plan around the Moroccan calendar

Lessons are scheduled in Moroccan time. Following a government decision, Morocco returned to GMT (UTC+0) on 20 September 2026, ending the UTC+1 regime and its clock changes for Ramadan. The plan is then built around school, the bac and the test dates you have chosen.

  4. Live lessons in English

Lessons are live online and taught in English. A tutor who can also explain a point in French or Arabic is confirmed case by case and never promised.

  5. Prices before you commit

Open your programme’s pricing page to compare packages, lesson rates and available group courses.

Frequently asked questions

Short, direct answers. If yours is not here, ask us.

No. We do not run a course for the baccalauréat marocain or the French baccalauréat. We teach international exams such as the SAT, IELTS and TOEFL, and international programmes such as the IB and AP, in English. Work in mathematics or the sciences for those programmes can support bac revision, but the bac itself is not what we teach.

In June. In 2026 the regional exam for first-year students began on 1 June, the national exam for second-year students ran from 4 to 6 June, and the ministry set 17 June for the results. The 2027 dates could not be confirmed when this page was checked; confirm them with the ministry and your school before fixing an SAT date.

For a first-year university licence, holders of a foreign school-leaving qualification file a demande d’admission préalable (DAP), which in Morocco goes through Campus France Maroc’s Études en France platform. Students taking the French baccalauréat in a French-network school apply through Parcoursup instead. Selective courses can follow other rules, so check each programme and Campus France Maroc.

It depends on the university. Some selective US universities require SAT or ACT scores again, while others are test-optional. Universities in both countries often ask for an English test such as IELTS or TOEFL, and some UK universities ask holders of the baccalauréat marocain to complete a foundation programme first. Check each university’s international entry requirements before booking a test.

Lessons are set in Moroccan time. Morocco has been on GMT (UTC+0) since 20 September 2026 and no further clock changes for summer or Ramadan are scheduled; if the rule changes, lesson times follow Moroccan time. We fit lessons around school hours and exam weeks.

Lessons are taught in English, the language of the SAT, IELTS and TOEFL. Enquiries can be written in French, Arabic or English, and we answer in the language you use. A tutor who can also explain a point in French or Arabic is confirmed case by case and never promised.
